Sit-down Comedy for Chester

For those of you not already aware, Chester the Jester of Humor Bloggers Dot Com fame, has gone MISSING! As a loyal humor blogger, I will now perform a stand-up (sit-down) benefit in honor of Chester…

mimimimi-memememe-mamam–sorry just a few warm ups–

Hi everyone! I’m Ann!! My bloggy friends call me RAAAANNTZZZ (shaking luxurious mane to and fro like the Prell Girl)

    [ribbit ribbit]

Um? no one calls me Rants. I just really want a nickname. When I was five I tried to appoint myself “green leaf” but it never caught on…True story.

[silence, but for the loud ticking of an industrial clock]

So I taught my toddler to sign and now she WONT
(international sign for no) SHUT (international sign for zipping lips and throwing away the key) UP (pointing UP…hilariously!)

    [angry stare]

I don’t mean like real sign language for the hearing-impaired. I mean that toddler-no-habla-ingles-MORE MORE-FOOD-FOOD sign language. That impossibly cute like a show monkey sign language? I mean why don’t toddlers just enunciate already…

    [heckler with a slide-whistle]

Okeeeee. Ya’ll like impressions? Me either. Check out my lizard-lady face (tucks front lip under, grins maniacally, flicks tongue out repetedly)

    [loud slurping-through-a-straw-with-no-drink-left noises]

Waiter, get that man a drink. Ya want that in a sippy cup, sir? HahahAHAHAH… Pffpffpffpffpff(desperate failed armpit farts)

    [tomatoes pummeling]

    That went well…

Never mind the crimp in my comedic stylin’, check out the hilarious bloggers over at HBDC. Its HUMOR BLOGGERS UNITE week, so do not pass go. Forget Boardwalk and Park Place…who can afford those taxes in this economy. While B&O railroad will always be funny, the bloggers at HBDC are funnier. See if YOU can find Chester and win the HBDC challenge!

    1. Tough audience…And I haven’t seen Chester. Haven’t seen our cats yet today either. Maybe they’re all in the yarn bin, I’ll have a look.

    2. This is so funny…. but more as a parody of a bad show… I’ve actually had to sit through something of that sort, and that silence… oh, it can be painful!

    3. Popped over from Blick to stop and check you out. (Sorry, song lyrics on the brain.) Never been by HMDC but will check them out too.. I’ve seen the button all over bloggy real estate.

    4. This sounds like me. Talking to my faculty. At every faculty meeting.

So, Chester is missing. I’ll organize a search party and go wandering.

    5. The toddler enunciating part made me think of those creepy commenrcials where the dub an adult voice into a toddler’s mouth. It really creeps me out. And that is why toddler’s should not enunciate too too much, it would be weird for them to not have those cute little voices.

BTW Braja is already putting up a rumor that you have your yoga post up.

    6. I find it odd that Chester has gone missing around the same time as Jack from Jack in The Box is mysteriously hospitalized. Coincidence?

      I think not.
