Bath Bombe Giveaway!

Do you love bath products? I’m not speaking of the “clear the pool” and “make your own bubbles” variety. Have you ever encountered the luxury of a bath bombe?

Ann, why on earth would I want to bomb(e) my bath? A bath bombe effervesces in your bath with wonderful fragrance and moisturizing oil, making your bath a spa-like experience. My sister-in-law, Stacie, has made them out of her home–from certified authentic, organic, and fair-trade ingredients–for a year or so now. We’ve enjoyed them immensely, as have her customers who purchase her bath bombes locally.

So, what’s the giveaway? Stacie has started her own on-line business Bombe de Bain: Soak In The World. The site is state-of-the art beautiful. Click the link, visit her new site, and leave a comment here on m’blog telling me which four bath bombes you’d pick if you win. Next week I’ll select one winner at random, and Stacie will mail you the four bombes you chose, free of charge!

Please, tell me more! Don’t forget to check out the kids’ bombes. My kids beg me for a bath if bath bombes are involved, and they never tire of finding the froggy inside the Rainforest Rainforest Canopy Bomb. They also never tire of sticking their toes in each others’ butts, but don’t let that color your opinion of this good, clean, bath-time fun!

    Happy Mothers’ Day!

    1. Goodness me – how can I choose only four? I want all of them!

OK – if you force me to choose, then I say: Rainforest Canopy Bombe, Tahitian Sunset, Promised Land (cos I’ve always wanted to smell of milk and honey!) and Blossoms of Kyoto …

    2. Damnnit! I must be the only person in the world to have a house with FOUR bathrooms and NO FREAKIN BATHTUB! While it may thrill my husband to know end to realize we could hold a small dance in our shower, that does nothing for me when I want to soak away the day. No wonder I can’t de-stress.

I’m still going to go look. There are probably some great gifts!

    3. I’ll take toes up the butt for $200.

Alka-seltzer for the bath. Wonderful idea. I’m grateful for anything that’s free. Enter me and surprise me with the flavor.

    4. Orange grove, zen garden, tuscan summer and en Provence sound wonderful. Your sister in law needs to make some with mint and eucalyptus. I’d buy a zillion of those.

    5. I… uh… only 4? How do you narrow it down to only 4?

*deep breath* ok I can do this

seashore stroll, Le Ciel, Blossoms of Kyoto, Orange Grove

I tried to make one of them a kids, but I just couldn’t do it. Sorry, I am selfish that way.

    6. wow, these look great! maybe this is sad, but bathtime is my favorite time of day – after studying all day long, and making dinner, and trying to keep the house out of disrepair, a nice long soak prevents me from becoming homicidal. lol I’d have to pick the Parisian Night, Promised Land, Zen Garden, and Desert Oasis – a few fantastic smelling getaways. 🙂

by the way, delete above’s mine – I was signed in to the wrong account. 🙁 sorry!

    7. Lovely site! One little nitpicky critique, though, is that I would like to know which bombes have flower bits or glitter without having to read the ingredient list. I love to soak but I hate to clean glitter and bits out of my tub…
My four faves are: Caribbean Blue, Blossoms of Kyoto, Hawaiian Rainbow, and Hither and Yawn.

    8. If I have to narrow it down to four…sigh…

      Coconut Key

      En Provence

      Zen Garden

      Chateau Noir

They look wonderful, and as soon as I again have some disposable income I plan to go back and order a few million.

      Shade and Sweetwater,
      K

    9. OMG They all sound wonderful. Had a hard time deciding….Le Ciel, Monets Garden, Seashore Stroll, and Tahitian Sunset for me.

    10. Oh, Bombe de Bain’s website is gorgeous! I hope the bombes are just as delightful. The four I’d like to try are Rainforest Canopy (for my little boy who will go nuts over the frog), Tuscan Summer, Tahitian Sunset and Blossoms of Kyoto. I love your blog!

    11. The Bath Bombe sounds kind of scary. But in an awesome, really fragrant way.

Anyway, I’m sure all the flavors are lovely and I’m also sure that I will never win this in a million kazillion years. So I’ll just say surprise me and leave it at that.

    12. I would have to go with Le Ciel, Orange Grove, Seashore Stroll, and Promised Land.

If I win, do I get a sitter to keep the little ruffians, and the big ruffian out of the bathroom for about an hour? Please?

    13. I’m France obsessed lately because I haven’t been in a few years so… Parisian Night, Le Ciel, En Provence, Monet’s Garden. my 13 year old is a vegetarian/environmentalist (who loves taking long, luxurious and hot baths) and would love the rainforest canopy, alpine spring, and tranquil forest.

    14. Oh my… how much do I LOVE my bath products (since I only get a bath over a shower maybe ONCE a week, where my three year old STILL manages to interrupt 36721 times?)…

Monet’s Garden, Carribean Blue, Zen Garden, and Promised Land would have to be the four I’d pick (since I can only pick four, or else the list would be much, much longer!).

      Here’s to hoping! =)

    15. Each is swoon-worthy. Here’s the why of my favorite four, in four words.
Alpine Spring: meadows without Von Trapps.
      Promised Land: Palestine with peace.
Seashore Stroll: no sand in creases.
Parisian Night: Paris. Paris. Jasmine. Paris.

    16. Orange Grove, Caribbean blue, blossoms of Kyoto, and rainforest canopy for the kiddos. Never had a bath bomb–sounds intriguing.

    17. I’ll have to warn my sister about the toes up the butts – and laugh at her because I only have one, which makes toes up the butt seemingly impossible. I probably just jinxed myself and we’ll be in the ER later trying to get my son’s own toe removed from his hind nethers.

On a more appropriate note, I would love to try: 1-Small World
      2-Promised Land
      3-Orange Grove
      4-Monet’s Garden
5-Car… oh, sorry, I forgot to stop.

They all sound lovely. Please tell Stacie she has a beautiful sight and thanks to you both for a wonderful giveaway – in time for Mother’s Day.
