Ann in Madison and Shamelessly Self Promoting. Again!

    Hi Friends,

I just returned from Los Angeles, where I got to sit in the audience for LTYM: LA. It was indescribably wonderful, and impossible for me to extrapolate on right now as I am traveling-comatose. The Austin LTYM show was a humungo success as well, did you hear? I’m dying to see the video. You can too, and soon.

Madison peeps, you can find me in newsstands right now in the Brava Magazine May feature “No Regrets.” Brava invited me and 3 other local women to write a letter to our 20-year-old selves. Look for me by the Tic Tacs! I will link the article when they put it up on the Brava Website in the coming months.

    mmmm coffeeeee….

Also, today some of the local 2011 Madison LTYMs will read teasers from their pieces on community radio and discuss this Sunday’s show! You can live stream it by going to www.wort-fm.org > LISTEN LIVE link in upper right, or listen to A Public Affair with Cynthia Lin at 12:05 pm today, Tuesday 5/3/11.

Oh, please buy your tickets for The 2nd Annual LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER this Sunday, Mother’s Day, at The Barrymore. Save 10% by buying in advance, okay? $13.50 instead of $15.00 equals TIC TAC MONEY, YO YO.

And hey, if you know someone in NW Indiana or Spokane, send them to Listen To (their) Mothers too, okay?

Okay. I’ve barely said hello to Husband yet. A bonafide post will be forthcoming. If “forthcoming” means eventually someday.

    Air Kisses Both Cheeks,
    Ann

    1. Yay for you on the magazine article and the LYTM shows across the country. When are you bringing this to the DC area so I can see one of these in person, rock star?

    2. Fantastic news all around. So glad to hear that the “out of town” shows have been such a success. I can’t wait to see the vids. Also, LOVE the photo in Brava. You look so dynamic and “happening.” 😉 – Alex

    3. You are such a superstar you’re giving air-kisses? I will only accept big sloppy ones. Thank you.

Look at you! You’re everywhere! It’s all coming together and going amazingly. Congrats, my friend.

    4. I’m flying high with excitement for you and all the directors and cast members of LTYM!!

Congrats on all your successes – they are so, so deserved.

And how about a LTYM show Boston someday, eh? I’m green with envy over eveyone who gets to see this show. It’s AMAZING.

    6. Great letter, Ann. (Yes, I actually magnified and deciphered it!) I’m so happy that I know the “Authentic Ann” that graces the world at this time and can call her a friend. You are a light to everyone who knows you! xoxo
