We gave Motherhood a Microphone in 32 cities. Now Motherhood needs her feet in Epsom salts, a package of Mallomars, and her favorite stories on the tube.

Motherhood has directed, produced, facilitated, mentored, born witness, given voice, curated and collage-d. She’s facilitated 80 local directors/producers, 400 stories of motherhood, and thousands of dollars to non-profit causes.  She still has checks to write, books to keep, budgets to balance, piles to sort, children to dust-off, groceries to grab, partners to set eyes upon, fingernails to trim, manuscripts to edit, and videos to release.

But for now? Do her a Mitzvah (Yiddish for ‘do her a solid’) and please bring her a pair of mukluks, an eye mask, and play very quietly in your room. I promise, she’ll be back soon, with lots of stories to share.

And I’ll be back to a regular writing schedule. I’m really looking forward to it. Thank you for for your support of Listen To Your Mother, and of this mother. Thank you for being here.

    1. A well-deserved rest, my friend! Congrats on a successful season and for the most amazing experience you have given to SO many women (and a few men!). Grab those Mallomars and your bunny slippers. You are the best.

    2. I spent the week with my children, and no dedicated work hours. Still drool and mumble
when someone asks how the show went, but I’m improving. I can’t imagine that tired multiplied by 32 and compounded by infinity. Obviously I’m as bad at math, as you are tired. Enjoy your time!

    3. I’ve been so blessed to have been a part of this season. Thank you for being such a freaking rock star, and for starting something that makes so many hearts go pitter patter. xo

    4. Besides my own family, of course, I’ve never been as proud to be a part of anything as I am to be a small piece, now & forevermore, of Listen to Your Mother. You are a force of nature, Ann Imig, and you deserve one ROCKIN spa vacation right about now. But the Mallomars sound pretty good, too. THANK YOU for all you have done and will do for motherhood & mothers everywhere. xo

    5. I slept pretty much all day Friday after our Thursday night show. It may have been the mental exhaustion. Or the cheap wine I served in the green room. Who knows?

You deserve all the accolades and all the rest and all the eye masks. Thanks for leading us through an incredible season!
