Free Association Friday: Rene from Not The Rockefellers

    This week I had the pleasure of free-associating with Rene of Not The Rockefellers. Rene’s smart writing and unique sense of humor make for terrific blog posts, and notoriously funny comments all around bloggyland. As usual, I provided the words in bold, and Rene provided the rest. Enjoy!

    Geiger Counter – Where all the Geiger business is conducted, at the Geiger counter, don’t go anywhere else they’ll just tell you to get back on line.

    Nefarious – That’s a total Jeremy Irons word. Or that Sesame Street Vampire..is he still on? Vampires are hot right now so you’d think they’d be rockin’ the shit outta that muppet. Where were we?

    Simple Chronic Halitosis – The Fredo of the Chronic Halitosis crime family. Get used to it, they’re not going away and that stinks.
    Small Wonder – What ever happened to Vicki? And wouldn’t it be cool to have an electric socket in your armpit….Small Wonder, great now that song’s stuck in my head

    Chintz – Crap..that’s the definition I grew up with…The curtains at Bradlee’s are chintzy.

    Mincemeat – I’ll make mincemeat outta that mouse – never touched the stuff because of that statement.

    Peeyoo! What’s that smell? Did you step in something? When was the last time you had a bowel movement? Good Lord!!!

    Rhombus – I had a boyfriend that played in one of those clubs in highschool. It’s like Dungeons and Dragons right?

    Epilady– Fell for it, it tore me up and then I threw it in a drawer. Right next to the Hairdini.

    Dwarf Zebu – crap is that another Sci Fi network show? My husband’s a sci-fi geek so he’ll be happy…Gahh.. I gotta watch the crappy TV upstairs..the one that doesn’t have HD….

    Ramekin – my precious little ramekin ( Gary Oldman Dracula voice) oh the places I will take you

    EbinGleebinGlobbinGlobin – Oh yeah, Def Leppard…was that before all that crap happened to them? Ahh who cares..Rise Up gather round rock this place into the ground..you’re needing the fix right? The crappy video… oh yeah here ya go

    Neufchatel – that’s just Kraft for crappy cream cheese, get the real stuff and eat less.

    Bobbin – Wasn’t that Lowell’s last name on Wings. I thought Lowell was hot..speaking of hot you always new when the studio was a little chilly on Wings…Helen had headlights..check it out.. I wish I had a vid..I do not.

    Mens rea – Don’t they meet every Wednesday at the Fellowship?

      I did need the fix suddenly, thank you very much for that. Phew, it was a close one, like the 80’s vortex had gripped me and was pulling me through our ancient linoleum floor. The video got me through. Time to change the flooring in the kitchen. I might lose one of my kids.

      Great post, Ann. And Rene – I would have commented even without you begging. You are both two of my favorites and I think this is a hilarious way to get to know people. I had an epilady. Still have deep scars to prove it, both physical and mental. Every since I’ve been a needy ramekin in a world filled with souffles 🙂
